Why Can't I Connect My Email Client?

Most connection failures are due to incorrect server settings or passwords.

Double-Check These Settings

Go to Domains -> Your Domain -> Connection tab and verify:

Setting Value
IMAP Host imap.trekmail.net
IMAP Port 993 (SSL/TLS)
SMTP Host smtp.trekmail.net
SMTP Port 465 or 587
Username Full email address

Common Mistakes

  • Using the domain's SMTP: smtp.yourdomain.com will not work. Use smtp.trekmail.net.
  • Wrong Port: Port 25 is often blocked by ISPs. Use 465 or 587.
  • Old Saved Profile: Delete old accounts from before migrating to TrekMail.
