Do I have to use the email to use the Drive?

No. The Drive stands on its own. You can sign up, put files in it, mount it on your computer and never open a mailbox. The account comes with email included, and leaving it switched off costs you nothing.

How much space do I get, and how much can I add?

Every account starts with space included, from 5 GB on the free plan up to 200 GB on the largest one, shared with your mail if you use it. On top of that you can add a storage subscription from 250 GB all the way to 100 TB. Past that we set it up with you; accounts in the petabytes are fine, they just start with a conversation.

Is there a free trial?

Yes: 1 TB free for 30 days, and no card. It is a one-time offer per account and it works on every plan including the free one. When it ends you either pick a paid size or bring your files back under your permanent limit. We email you well before anything happens, and nothing is removed without warning.

How big a file can I upload?

Up to 10 TB in a single file. Large uploads go up in pieces and resume by themselves. If your connection drops halfway through a video, it carries on from where it stopped instead of starting again.

Can I open my files in Finder, File Explorer, or on my phone?

Yes, and there is no app to install. The Drive appears as an ordinary folder or network drive on Mac, Windows and Linux, and phones connect through file apps they already have. You create a separate password for each device, so losing a laptop means revoking one line rather than changing everything.

Can I use it for backups that run on their own?

That is one of the most common uses. Backup tools such as rclone can copy a folder up on a schedule overnight, resume if a transfer breaks, and run under their own password that you can cancel without touching anything else.

Can my AI assistant work with my files directly?

Yes. There are 42 ready-made actions an assistant can use: find a file, upload one, tidy folders, create a link that expires. You decide what each assistant is allowed to touch, and anything that destroys data permanently stays switched off until you deliberately turn it on. It works with the popular assistants and automation tools out of the box, on every paid plan.

Can I send a file to someone who is not a customer?

Yes. You create a link and send it, and the person on the other end just clicks, no account needed. You choose how long the link lives and how many times it can be downloaded, and you can kill it instantly if you change your mind.

Can my team work in the same folders?

Yes. Everything is private until you open it up, and then you choose exactly which people in your account get in, and whether they can change things or only look. Your colleagues set their own devices up without going through you, and you can still see and revoke every device from one page.

What else comes with the account?

Business email on your own domains, webmail you can use from any browser, shared calendars and a shared address book. One flat price covers everyone on your team instead of charging per person, and you can run many domains from the same account.

Can I move my existing email and files across?

Yes, and not by hand. We can pull your old mailboxes over from another provider, folders and all, and you can drag your existing files straight into the Drive or copy them up with a backup tool. Your old address keeps working while you switch.

Can I sell this to my own clients under my own brand?

Yes. With White Label the whole thing (the sign-in page, the webmail, the emails your clients receive) carries your logo, your colours and your domain instead of ours. Your clients never see our name, and storage is discounted while White Label is active.

What is the email verifier I keep seeing?

A tool for checking whether an address is real before you write to it, so your messages do not bounce and your sending reputation stays clean. Every plan comes with an allowance of checks included, and you can use it from the dashboard or from your own scripts.

How does the storage subscription work?

It sits on top of your account. Pick a size, choose monthly or yearly billing (yearly gives you two months free) and change your mind whenever you like. Resizing up or down and cancelling are self-service, with no call and no notice period.

What happens if I cancel it?

Your files stay reachable up to the space your plan already includes. Anything above that becomes read-only first, so you have time to download or tidy up before anything is removed, and you get email warnings at every step. Your mail is never deleted to make room.

Is my data actually safe?

Files are encrypted where they are stored and on the way there and back. Deleted things sit in the trash for 30 days before they really go. Every upload, share and deletion is written to a record that cannot be edited afterwards, so you can always see who did what.
