TrekMail plans come with pooled storage (e.g., 50GB shared across all mailboxes). This guide explains how to monitor usage and what happens when you hit the limit.
Who this is for
- Admins getting "Storage Full" alerts.
- Users wondering why they can't receive mail.
Checking usage
- Global Usage: The Overview page shows a bar chart of your total account storage vs. your plan limit.
- Per Mailbox: The Mailboxes list shows a usage bar for each individual user.
- Click the Storage column header to sort by biggest consumers.
What happens when you are full?
If your account exceeds its total storage limit:
- Incoming Mail: We may start rejecting new emails with a "452 Storage Full" error (Soft Bounce).
- Outgoing Mail: You can usually still send, but saving to "Sent Items" might fail.
How to free up space
- Empty Trash & Spam: These count towards your quota.
- Delete Large Attachments: Sort by size in your email client (Outlook/Apple Mail) and delete old heavy files.
- Upgrade Plan: Go to Billing to move to the next tier for more space.
