Most migrations finish automatically. If yours stops or shows an error, here is how to fix it.

- Fix:
- Check your password.
- If using Gmail, did you use an App Password?
- If using cPanel, did you use the full email address?
"Connection Timed Out" / "Host Unreachable"
- Meaning: We couldn't reach the server
imap.oldhost.com. - Fix:
- Check if the hostname is correct.
- Verify port 993 is open on the old server.
"Mailbox Quota Exceeded"
- Meaning: Your TrekMail destination mailbox is full.
- Fix:
- Upgrade your TrekMail plan to get more storage.
- Delete old mail from the source before migrating.
Can I restart a failed migration?
Yes. If a migration fails, fix the underlying issue (e.g., change password) and simply start a New Migration.
- Note: Our system deducts duplicates. If we see an email that is already in TrekMail (same Message-ID), we skip it. You won't get double emails.
