White Label Lite is a flat-rate add-on with one price per billing period. No tiers, no usage metering, no per-customer fees. It doesn't matter whether you have one mailbox or a hundred behind your brand. This article answers the billing questions that come up most often.
For the overview of what the add-on actually does, see What is White Label Lite?. For the cancellation flow, see Canceling White Label Lite.
The price
| Period | USD price | What's included |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $39 / month | Custom domain, branded UI, branded emails, 10% off current Drive Storage prices |
| Yearly | $389 / year | Same as monthly, plus you save $79 a year over paying monthly |
Active Starter, Pro, and Agency plans receive the stated 10% White Label discount. The current discounted prices shown for eligible accounts are $35.10 a month and $350.10 a year. There is no code to enter: the applicable amount, billing period, trial conversion date, and first charge are shown before you confirm checkout. If a summary in this article differs from checkout, the checkout disclosure controls.
That's it. Two prices. No setup fee, no per-customer charge, no email-volume metering.
The yearly discount works out to roughly two months free. If you're confident you'll keep the add-on for at least nine months, yearly wins on cost.
Currencies
White Label Lite is priced in 10 currencies. The currency shown on the White Label card on the Plans page is taken from your account's billing currency, set at signup and updated when you change your mail plan's currency.
- USD: United States dollar
- EUR: euro
- GBP: British pound
- CAD: Canadian dollar
- AUD: Australian dollar
- JPY: Japanese yen
- CHF: Swiss franc
- KRW: South Korean won
- SGD: Singapore dollar
- AED: UAE dirham
Once you subscribe in a given currency, that currency is locked for your subscription. You can't change a USD subscription to EUR mid-flight. If you need to switch, cancel and resubscribe in the new currency.
The 17% annual discount applies in every currency. The savings work out to roughly two months free regardless of which one you pay in.
How yearly billing actually charges you
Yearly subscribers pay the full $389 (or local equivalent) up front, once per year. If you activate on March 15, the next charge lands on March 15 of the following year.
There's no monthly statement for yearly subscribers. Stripe sends a single annual invoice each renewal. You can download all your invoices any time from the Billing page.
Switching between monthly and yearly
We don't currently support a single-click switch between monthly and yearly. If you want to switch:
- Wait for your current billing cycle to come close to its end.
- Cancel the existing subscription a few days before renewal.
- Resubscribe in the new period.
This avoids paying for overlap. Stripe doesn't penalize the cancel-and-resubscribe pattern, so you just get a fresh start in the new period.
If you cancel mid-cycle and want to switch immediately, you'll pay for the rest of the current cycle (it's already covered) and then start the new cycle the day you resubscribe. No refund for the unused portion of the canceled cycle.
Charges and cancellation timing
Activation: White Label uses its own billing schedule rather than assuming the renewal date of your mail plan. Before confirmation, checkout shows the amount due, billing period, any trial, the first charge date, and the renewal terms. For the 30-day trial, the first charge is on day 30 unless you cancel before the displayed conversion date.
Cancellation mid-cycle: the subscription stays active until the end of the cycle you have already paid for. The cancellation screen shows the effective date.
Yearly cancellation mid-year: the same rule applies. If you cancel six months in, the subscription stays active for the remaining six months and the brand stays live. Except where applicable law or the checkout terms require otherwise, the unused portion is non-refundable and non-creditable.
For an erroneous, duplicate, unauthorized, or legally refundable charge, open an account support ticket. Submission does not guarantee a refund or credit.
Taxes and VAT
TrekMail calculates tax from the billing information and rules applicable to the transaction. Any tax collected is shown before confirmation and on the invoice; it is not included in the headline $39 or $389 numbers.
- EU and UK customers: a valid tax identifier may affect the treatment shown at checkout where the transaction qualifies under applicable VAT rules.
- US customers: sales tax is collected where required and is shown before you confirm the purchase.
- Other regions: applicable transaction taxes, if any, are shown before confirmation. If the billing information on an invoice is wrong, open a support ticket.
Tax behaviour on the White Label Lite line follows the same rules as your mail plan. If your mail plan invoice shows VAT, your White Label invoice will too.
Drive Storage discount
There are two separate 10% discounts. An active Starter, Pro, or Agency hosting plan takes 10% off White Label Lite; an active White Label Lite subscription takes 10% off the eligible Drive purchase or resize. The Drive discount comes off the Drive bill, not the White Label bill.
White Label Lite includes a 10% discount on current Drive Storage prices for a new Drive purchase or resize while White Label is active.
The discount is computed against the current standard Drive Add-on price ladder. A new 5 TB Drive Add-on at $56/month becomes $50.40/month while White Label Lite is active. The selected amount is part of the Drive subscription price; it is not a coupon line on the White Label invoice.
This pricing release does not bulk-migrate existing Drive subscriptions. Existing Stripe Price IDs remain untouched until those subscriptions are reviewed separately. Buying or resizing Drive while White Label is active selects the current discounted price; buying or resizing without it selects the current standard price.
What appears on your invoice
Each successful charge produces a PDF invoice with:
- Line item: White Label Lite, followed by Monthly or Yearly
- Amount in your subscription's currency
- Tax line (if applicable)
- Your company details (set in Company details)
- The Stripe payment receipt details
You get one invoice per successful renewal. Resizes (which don't apply to White Label Lite, as there are no tiers) and proration events also produce invoices.
Refunds policy
The default policy mirrors the rest of TrekMail:
- Cancellation mid-cycle: no refund. You keep the brand and domain live until cycle end.
- Yearly canceled mid-year: no refund. The brand stays live until the year ends.
- Erroneous, duplicate, unauthorized, or legally refundable charge: open a support ticket for review. Submission does not guarantee a refund or credit.
Except where applicable law or the checkout terms require otherwise, paid monthly and annual periods are non-refundable and non-creditable. Billing questions must be submitted through an account support ticket.
Common scenarios
"I'm canceling because I'm switching to yearly." Wait until close to your next monthly renewal, cancel, then resubscribe at yearly. You'll keep the brand live through the end of your current monthly cycle.
"My account changed currency. What happens to my White Label subscription?" Nothing automatic. The existing subscription continues to bill in its original currency. If you want the new currency, cancel and resubscribe.
"I deactivated the Drive Storage add-on but I'm still paying for White Label Lite. Do I get a discount somewhere?" No. The 10% Drive discount only applies to a Drive purchase or resize while White Label is active. The White Label Lite price is $39 (or local equivalent) by itself, regardless of whether you also have Drive.
"Can I get a quote for an annual contract beyond one year, like a multi-year commitment?" Not through self-serve. Contact sales (via support) and we'll talk.
"Can I see it before I pay anything at all?" Yes. Open a domain’s Branding tab or the White Label card on the Plans page, then choose Preview live. It uses a temporary address and does not publish DNS for your domain.
"Is there a free trial?" Yes. Every mail plan includes White Label Lite with a 30-day trial. Before starting, read the end date, payment-method, and conversion terms shown in checkout.
