Why Am I Not Receiving Emails?

If you can send but not receive, it's almost always a DNS issue.

Step 1: Check Domain Status

Go to Domains -> Your Domain.

  • Status should be:Active
  • If not: Click Verify DNS and fix any errors shown.

Step 2: Verify MX Records

Your MX record must point to TrekMail's servers. Use mxtoolbox.com to check:

example.com MX priority 10, mailserver mx.trekmail.net

Common mistake: You still have old MX records from GoDaddy, cPanel, or Google Workspace. Delete those.

Step 3: Check the Mailbox

  1. Go to Mailboxes.
  2. Ensure the user exists and is Active.
  3. Log in to Webmail to see if the emails are there but hidden in folders.
