Do I need a paid plan to refer others?

No. Most accounts can access a referral link, including Free users.

What exactly do I get for a successful referral?

You get 1 free month of TrekMail.

If you’re on Free, you’ll receive 1 month of Starter.
If you’re already on a paid plan, we’ll extend your next renewal date by one month.

What happens when I reach 10 successful referrals?

You unlock a 10% lifetime discount on paid plans. This is the only discount milestone in the program.

When do rewards show up?

Rewards appear after your invitee completes the qualifying action listed in your Referral dashboard, such as activating a paid plan. In some cases, a short verification window may apply before the referral is finalized.

Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?

There’s no published cap. You can refer as many qualified users as you like while the program is active.

I shared my link, but the referral didn’t track. Why?

Common fixes:

Make sure your invitee used your exact referral link.
Ask them to complete signup in the same browser session.
Ensure cookies are enabled.
Try the link in a private window to verify it loads correctly.

Can I use a shortened link?

We don’t recommend it. Some shorteners can remove referral parameters and break tracking.

Can I get rewards for inviting an existing TrekMail user?

No. Referrals are intended for new customers.

Can I receive cash instead of free months?

No. The referral program rewards are delivered as free months and (after 10 successful referrals) a lifetime discount, applied inside your account.

Where do I find my referral link?

Open the Referral section in your dashboard and copy the unique link displayed there.
