The Billing page keeps the payment history available to your account. It can include Stripe invoices and crypto payment records. This guide explains the status and action links shown for each entry.

Where to find your history

Open the Billing page and scroll past the payment-methods column. The Invoices list shows every charge in reverse chronological order.

Each row shows:

  • Invoice or payment ID, date, amount, currency, and status.
  • An action link when a receipt, hosted payment page, or PDF is available.

If you haven't been billed yet, you'll see: "No invoices yet. Your first invoice will appear here after your trial ends or when your first payment is processed."

What the action links mean

An invoice can show one of these links:

  • Receipt: opens the receipt Stripe provides for a paid card invoice.
  • Pay: opens the hosted payment page for an unpaid Stripe invoice.
  • Invoice: opens a PDF when one is available.

Crypto payment records can have different documents and links from card invoices. Keep the transaction ID and the Billing entry for your records.

Stripe invoices vs crypto records

The two payment rails produce different artifacts:

Stripe (card) NOWPayments (crypto)
Renewal Uses the default saved method when available Start the next yearly payment manually
Document links Receipt, Pay, or PDF when supplied Vary by payment record
Useful evidence Billing entry and card statement Billing entry and transaction ID

Crypto payments do not automatically charge a wallet at renewal. Start the next payment before the current paid period ends. See Paying with Crypto.

What's on a Stripe invoice PDF

The PDF Stripe generates for each paid invoice contains:

  • TrekGuider Inc. as the seller (legal entity behind TrekMail).
  • Your billing email (the address on your account).
  • Company or tax details that Stripe had available when it issued the document. TrekMail currently attempts to sync the company name for an existing Stripe customer, but the locally stored country and tax ID are not registered with Stripe by that form. Check the actual PDF.
  • A line-item breakdown: plan/add-on, period covered, unit price, quantity, total.
  • Any promo-code discount applied as a separate line.
  • VAT or sales tax only when Stripe Automatic Tax is enabled, the required tax registrations and customer location details are configured, and Stripe calculates tax for that checkout. Use the total displayed before payment; saving a local tax ID does not activate tax collection.
  • The exact payment timestamp and the last four digits of the charged card.

If a finance team needs a particular invoice format, first download the document currently available in Billing. See Company Details and Tax Information for the account details you can provide.

Filtering by date or amount

The Invoices list is ordered with the newest entries first. For a particular period:

  • Open each invoice from the list and check the date and amount inline.
  • Contact support if a required historical entry is missing from the list.

We're aware this is a gap for businesses with many charges (resizes, add-on activations, monthly renewals over years). A date-range filter is on the backlog.

Billing status box

Above the invoice list, the Billing status card shows your current subscription state:

  • Active: the plan is currently active.
  • Trialing: the account is in a trial period.
  • Past Due: a renewal needs attention. See Fixing Failed Payments.
  • Canceled: the subscription was canceled and may remain available until the displayed end date.

Use the date shown in Billing as the current renewal or end-date reference. Refresh the page after completing a payment or plan change.

Common questions

Why don't crypto payments have a PDF? NOWPayments works on a "pay this invoice in coin" model, not the recurring-billing model Stripe uses. The on-chain transaction is the legal record. Most accounting workflows accept the on-chain proof + the dashboard entry combined.

My invoice shows "PAID" but my card statement shows nothing. Check pending transactions with the card issuer. If the entry remains unclear, contact support with the invoice ID, not card details.

Can I see prorated charges separately? A mid-cycle change can produce an adjustment on an invoice or billing entry. Open the document and review the line items and amount Stripe supplied; do not assume every adjustment is a separate invoice or uses the same label.

Can I delete an invoice? No. If an invoice appears incorrect, contact support with its ID and a concise explanation.

How long are old invoices kept? Download documents needed for tax or accounting records before deleting an account. The visible history can depend on the current account and payment provider.

I changed my company name. Will old invoices update? No. Older invoices preserve the details that were on file when issued. Check a new invoice after updating your tax information.

Can I send invoices to a different email? Use a secure mailbox rule or forwarding method you control after receiving the invoice. Review Managing Your Account Profile before changing the account sign-in email.
