Frequently asked questions

How do I know when my balance is ready to withdraw?

The Available balance shown on the Overview and Payouts tabs is the amount you can request right now. Once it reaches $50, the Request payout button becomes active.

Why is my available balance lower than I expected?

A few things can cause this:

  • Hold period: Commissions earned in the last 30 days are still Pending and not yet available. Only commissions that have cleared the hold period count toward your available balance.
  • Refunds: If a referred customer received a refund, the associated commission was reversed and deducted from your balance.
  • Previous payout: If you recently requested a payout, the requested amount has been moved out of your available balance pending processing.

How long does it take to receive my payout?

Payout requests are reviewed manually. TrekMail aims to review and send an approved payout within 30 business days after submission. After dispatch, arrival time depends on the selected provider, receiving account, country, compliance checks, and financial institution and is not guaranteed by TrekMail.

Why was my payout request declined?

Payout requests can be declined for several reasons:

  • Missing or unapproved tax profile
  • Payout method is not configured correctly
  • Your account is under review due to a flagged compliance issue
  • The available balance changed between when you submitted the request and when it was reviewed (for example, due to a refund)

If your request was declined, the reason is shown in the Payouts tab. Resolve the issue and resubmit.

Can I request a partial payout?

No. A payout request reserves your full Available balance eligible at the time of the request. The request button becomes available when that balance reaches $50.

What fees are deducted from my payout?

The request amount is the full reservable balance shown in the dashboard. The Commissions ledger separately shows the payment-processing fee allocation used to calculate each commission. Stripe or PayPal may apply their own fees or conversion terms before delivery. Check the payout reference and provider account if you need to reconcile a difference.

Can I change my payout method?

Yes. Go to AffiliateSettings and update your method. If you have an open request, contact support before changing payment details so finance can confirm the appropriate next step.

I selected Stripe but never received a payout invite. What do I do?

Check the spam or promotions folder for the email saved in AffiliateSettings. If you still cannot find the Stripe message after a request is approved, confirm that the address is correct and contact TrekMail support with your payout reference.

I have already set up my Stripe payout details: do I need to go through the invite process again?

Stripe may request setup or verification details when needed. Keep the email address in your Affiliate settings current and follow the instructions in the message for each payout.

How do I update my PayPal email?

Go to AffiliateSettings, edit the PayPal email field, and save. If a request is already open, contact support before changing it.

Do commissions expire if I don't withdraw them?

Available commissions do not expire automatically. However, if you do not request a payout for 365 consecutive days after a Commission becomes Available, TrekMail may manually review and cancel all or part of the unclaimed balance where permitted by applicable law. Request your payout through the dashboard once the Available balance reaches $50.

Is there a maximum amount I can withdraw?

The request uses your full currently available balance. There is no separate amount field or published maximum below that balance.
