Overview
Once your Available balance reaches the minimum of $50 USD, you can submit a payout request from the Payouts tab in your affiliate dashboard. The request covers your full eligible Available balance. Payouts are reviewed manually, and TrekMail aims to review and send an approved payout within 30 business days after submission.
Before you request a payout
Three things must be in place before you can submit a payout request:
- Approved affiliate application: your affiliate status must be Active.
- Payout method configured: you must have either a PayPal email or a Stripe email saved in Affiliate → Settings.
- Tax profile approved: your W-9, W-8BEN, or W-8BEN-E tax form must be submitted and approved. See Setting Up Your Tax Profile.
If either is missing, the payout request form will indicate what needs to be completed first.
How to request a payout
- Open the Affiliate section and click the Payouts tab.
- Confirm that your available balance is at least $50 USD. The request button is disabled until the minimum is met.
- Click Request payout.
- Review the full Available balance that will be included in the request.
- Confirm the payout method shown (PayPal or Stripe).
- Submit the request.
Your request moves to Requested status immediately. While it is under review, the amount is no longer available for a second request. You can cancel a request that is still under review from the Payouts tab.
Payout methods
TrekMail supports two payout methods: Stripe and PayPal. Choose and save one in Affiliate → Settings before requesting a payout.
PayPal
- Open Affiliate → Settings.
- Select PayPal as your method.
- Enter the email address linked to your PayPal account.
- Save.
After the request is reviewed, payout updates appear in the dashboard and are sent by email. PayPal may apply its own receiving checks or delivery timing.
Stripe
No Stripe account needed in advance. Here is how it works:
- Open Affiliate → Settings.
- Select Stripe as your method.
- Enter the email address where you want to receive the payout invite.
- Save.
After approval, Stripe uses this email to continue the payout setup. Follow the email instructions and choose from the delivery options Stripe makes available for your country.
Note: The affiliate dashboard records balances and requests in USD. Stripe determines any supported delivery option, currency conversion, and timing for the recipient.
Amount, fees, and deductions
The request amount is the full reservable balance shown in the dashboard. Commission calculations already show their gross amount, payment-processing fee allocation, net amount, and rate in the Commissions ledger.
Payment providers may apply their own fees, eligibility checks, or currency-conversion terms before delivery. If the amount received does not match the payment update, contact support with the payout reference shown in your dashboard.
Payout history
The Payouts tab shows a complete history of all your payout requests, including:
- Request date and amount
- Request status and any finance note
- Approved payout-batch reference, when one is created
- Sent payout record and reference, once finance marks the payment as sent
Payout request statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Requested | Your request has been submitted and is waiting for finance review. You can still cancel it. |
| Approved | Finance approved the request and created a payout batch. |
| Rejected | The request was not approved. Read the finance note in the dashboard before submitting another request. |
| Canceled | You canceled the request while it was under review. The reserved commissions return to the available balance. |
