The dashboard is your mission control for everything email. Whether you're managing one domain or one hundred, the layout remains the same. Here is a quick map of what you'll find.
Who this is for
- Users logging in for the first time.
- Team members trying to find specific settings.
Navigating the sidebar
The left-hand sidebar is your primary navigation tool.
- Overview: A high-level snapshot of your account health. See your total domains, mailbox count, and storage usage at a glance.
- Domains: The core of the system. Add new domains, check DNS health, and see connection details.
- Mailboxes: Manage users, reset passwords, and set up forwarding aliases.
- Sending & SMTP: Configure how your email is delivered. Switch between TrekMail Managed sending and your own Custom SMTP provider.
- Support: Access the help center, view ticket history, and check system status.
Top header controls
- Webmail ↗: Instantly launches the webmail client in a new tab. No need to log in again if you are the account owner.
- Account Menu (Avatar): Found in the top right. Access your Profile, Billing, API Keys, and Logout.
Key areas to know
The "View Conflicts" Drawer
On the Domains page, if you see a yellow or red status, clicking View Conflicts slides out a panel showing exactly which DNS record is mismatching. This is your best friend during setup.
The Plan & Billing Page
Accessible from your Avatar -> Billing. This is where you manage your subscription, download invoices, and toggle between Monthly/Yearly billing cycles.
Common mistakes
- Symptom: "I can't find the SMTP settings."
- Fix: SMTP settings are generally Per Domain. Go to Domains, click your domain, and look for the Connection tab. The Sending & SMTP sidebar item is for global sending configurations (like BYO SMTP keys).
- Symptom: "I don't see the Support tab."
- Fix: If you are on a mobile device, tap the hamburger menu to reveal the full sidebar.
