Overview
The TrekMail referral program lets you share one personal link with people who may need domain email. When a new account uses the link, completes a qualifying paid signup, and the reward is confirmed, your Dashboard records one free-month reward. At 10 confirmed referrals, it shows a 10% referral discount for eligible paid billing.
The current program has one reward and one milestone:
- Each confirmed referral adds one free-month reward to the referral record.
- Ten confirmed referrals unlock the 10% milestone shown in your Dashboard.
- The reward is not confirmed at the moment of signup. It has a 14-day confirmation period after the referred account's qualifying payment.
Who can participate
You do not need to apply to create a referral link. Open your account Dashboard and find the Referrals card. The card is available to the account owner or another member with the relevant account and billing access.
Referral rewards are for new TrekMail accounts. A current account does not become a referral by clicking someone else's link.
Your referral link
Each account has a unique referral link in the Referrals card. It uses the format trekmail.net/r/your-code. Use the Copy button and share that full link without changing the code.
White Label Lite users: the referral link uses
trekmail.net/r/your-code, even when you use your own brand for customer-facing services. Referrals track new TrekMail accounts, not mailboxes on your branded account.
When a referral counts as successful
A referral can qualify when:
- A new person opens your referral link and signs up for a new TrekMail account in that browser.
- That account completes its qualifying paid activation.
- The reward completes the 14-day confirmation period.
The Dashboard count changes after confirmation, not immediately after a click or signup. This protects the program from duplicate and self-referral attempts.
What you earn
1) One free-month reward per confirmed referral
For each confirmed referral, the Dashboard records one free-month reward. For an eligible active paid subscription billed through Stripe, TrekMail applies the value as an account-balance credit equal to one month of the current plan. This means the credit is reflected in billing rather than promising a calendar-month extension.
If the referral record or expected credit is missing after the confirmation period, open a support ticket with your referral count and the date of the paid activation. Do not ask the referred person to send you their account details.
2) Lifetime 10% discount at 10 referrals
When you reach 10 confirmed referrals, the Dashboard shows a 10% referral discount for eligible paid billing.
Check the amount in Billing before your next payment. A discount is applied only where the active subscription and payment setup support it; do not assume it combines with another promotion.
Where you can see your progress
On the Dashboard, the Referrals card shows:
- Your unique referral link with a Copy button.
- Confirmed referral count.
- Free-month rewards currently shown for the account.
- Current referral discount, when the milestone is reached.
- Progress toward the 10-referral milestone.
Quick-share buttons open LinkedIn, Facebook, or an email draft. You can also copy the link for another channel. The card does not list the people who used your link.
Sharing best practices
- Share the complete link and do not alter its code.
- Add a short, honest note about why TrekMail may fit the person's needs.
- Send people to the link before they create an account, not after.
Anti-abuse policy
We want the program to be fair for everyone. A referral can be rejected, and an ineligible pending reward can be revoked, when it involves the same account owner, duplicate accounts, or another clear attempt to claim an ineligible reward. Check the Dashboard and these docs for the current rules before promoting the program.
