The dashboard is your mission control for everything email. Whether you're managing one domain or one hundred, the layout remains the same. Here is a quick map of what you'll find.

Interactive Tours: Look for the "Guide" button on key pages to launch an interactive, step-by-step tour directly within the application. Tours are available on:

  • Domains — Learn how to add single or bulk domains, configure DNS, and use bulk actions.
  • Mailboxes — Understand all four mailbox creation methods: "Invite Owner" (single), "Bulk Invites" (multiple recipients), "Create Manually" (admin-controlled), and "Bulk Create" (CSV import with admin-set passwords). The tour also covers list filters, export, and bulk operations.
  • Migration — Walk through IMAP migration setup and monitoring.
  • SMTP Settings — Configure managed or custom SMTP sending.
  • Email Verifier — 11-step user-journey tour covering credits, Quick/Deep check modes, email input, pre-verification summary, real-time progress, results exploration, export, history, and starting new verifications.

Key Areas to Know

Dashboard Widgets

On the main Overview page, you will see several widgets that give you a snapshot of your account:

  • Activity (last 30 days): A line chart showing your sent and received email volume over the past month.
  • Storage: A progress bar showing how much space your mailboxes are using across your account. When storage is full, new incoming emails will bounce — so keep an eye on this.
  • Plan: Your current plan name, domain/mailbox/storage usage versus limits, and billing status.
  • SMTP Status: Shows whether you're using TrekMail Managed SMTP or a Custom SMTP provider.
  • Referrals: Your unique referral link, successful referral count, free months earned, and quick-share buttons for X, LinkedIn, Facebook, and email. Click Copy link to copy your referral URL.
  • Top Mailboxes: Shows your highest-storage mailboxes so you can identify heavy users.

Setup Wizard & Checklist

New accounts see a setup wizard on first login that walks you through adding a domain, connecting DNS, choosing a plan, and creating your first email address. If you skip the wizard, a 4-step checklist appears on the dashboard instead. Once the core setup is complete, a "Next steps" checklist replaces it with optional tasks like connecting email apps, importing old emails, verifying contacts, reviewing your plan, and enabling 2FA. You can hide the checklist at any time.

DNS Verification

On the Domains page, the status badges (Pending, Active, DNS Error) are your primary indicators. Clicking a domain takes you to the DNS & Health tab, where you can see exactly which records (MX, SPF, DKIM) are missing or incorrect.

The Connection Tab

Inside any specific domain, the Connection Info tab provides the exact IMAP and SMTP server settings you need to copy-paste into email clients like Outlook or Apple Mail.
