Overview
TrekMail supports two payout methods: Stripe and PayPal. Payouts are processed in USD after manual review. TrekMail aims to review and send an approved payout within 30 business days after the request is submitted. Delivery after dispatch depends on the selected payment provider. You choose your preferred method in the Payouts tab of your affiliate dashboard.
Minimum payout
The minimum payout amount is $50 USD. Payout requests below this threshold cannot be submitted. A payout request covers the full Available balance eligible at the time of the request.
Payout currency
All commission amounts and payout totals are recorded in USD. Stripe or PayPal may offer currency conversion or a local delivery option based on your account and country.
TrekMail does not control the exchange rate. Stripe or PayPal determines it when the transfer is made.
PayPal
How it works:
- Go to Affiliate → Settings in your dashboard.
- Select PayPal and enter your PayPal email address.
- After finance reviews the request, follow the payout update in the dashboard and email. PayPal may apply its own account checks and delivery timing.
Requirements:
- An email address for the PayPal account that should receive the payout
- Any account requirements PayPal applies in your country
Fees and timing: PayPal determines any provider fees, checks, and delivery timing for the recipient account.
Stripe
No Stripe account needed upfront. Here is how it works:
- Go to Affiliate → Settings and select Stripe.
- Enter the email address where you want to receive the payout invite.
- After approval, Stripe emails this address so you can finish payout setup.
- Follow the Stripe instructions and choose from the delivery options available to you.
Requirements:
- An email address you can access to receive the payout invite
- Any bank, card, or verification details Stripe asks for during its setup flow
Fees and timing: Stripe determines its own provider fees, eligibility checks, delivery options, and timing.
Fee deduction
The request amount is the full reservable balance shown in the dashboard. The Commissions ledger already explains how each commission was calculated, including the payment-processing fee allocation. Stripe or PayPal can apply separate provider terms before delivery. Check the payment update and provider account if you need to reconcile a difference.
Processing schedule
| Step | Timing |
|---|---|
| Submit payout request | Immediately available once your balance is ≥ $50 |
| Manual review and dispatch | TrekMail aims to complete this within 30 business days after submission |
| Funds arrive | Depends on PayPal or Stripe, the destination country, and any provider or bank review |
Available commissions do not expire automatically. If no payout is requested for 365 consecutive days after a Commission becomes Available, TrekMail may manually review and cancel all or part of the unclaimed balance where permitted by applicable law. See the controlling Affiliate Program Policy.
Changing your payout method
You can update your payout method at any time in Affiliate → Settings. If you have an open request, contact support before changing payment details so the finance team can confirm the appropriate next step.
