Let an AI Agent Buy and Set Up Email for You

Most software still assumes a person is sitting at the keyboard. You pick a plan, you type in a card, you click through a setup wizard. If you have an AI assistant doing work for you, it hits that wall and has to stop and ask you.

TrekMail removes the wall. An assistant can now choose a plan, pay for it, and finish the setup by itself — while you keep the account, the receipts, and the ability to pull the plug.

What this actually looks like

Say you ask your assistant to get a mailbox running for a new project.

It reads our public price list, picks what fits, pays, and gets an account. Then it adds your domain, writes the DNS records, waits for them to check out, and creates the mailboxes. When it comes back to you, the email works.

You are not cut out of any of it. You get an email the moment the account exists, and following that link makes you the owner in the normal dashboard, with a password of your own.

Who pays, and how

Your assistant does not get your card. It carries its own payment credential, issued by whatever wallet it uses, and each one is locked to a single purchase and a single amount. It cannot quietly reuse it for something else, and it cannot be talked into spending more than the amount it was given — that limit is enforced by our payment provider, not by us.

On top of that we keep our own ceilings on every account: a limit per purchase, per day, and per month. An assistant stuck in a loop runs into a wall rather than into your bank statement.

What it can and cannot buy

It can buy email verification credits, a mail plan, extra Drive storage, and White Label branding.

It cannot cancel anything, and it cannot move you to a smaller plan. That is deliberate. Buying more is something you can undo; losing a plan takes mailboxes and domains with it, and no assistant should be able to do that on a misread instruction. Those changes stay with you, in the dashboard.

It also cannot change a subscription you already have. If you ask it to upgrade, it will tell you plainly that it cannot, rather than reporting success and leaving your plan where it was.

Buying is not the same as a discount

A checkout you go through yourself may include a free trial or a promotional code. An assistant buying on its own always pays the full price, with no trial.

That is a limitation of how machine payments work, not a choice about who deserves a better deal. If a trial or a discount matters to you, buy that part yourself and let your assistant handle everything after.

Sending email takes a little longer

Once the account exists, an assistant can set almost everything up right away. Sending is the exception.

A new domain cannot send until its DNS records are published and check out, and for the first days after that the daily limit is lower than your plan allows, rising as the domain builds a clean record. Every TrekMail domain works this way. It is what keeps the mail your assistant sends out of spam folders — including the mail sent by everyone else on the platform.

Staying in control

Three things keep you in charge.

The email. Every account an assistant opens sends a link to the address it was given. Follow it and the account is yours in the dashboard. If you never do, sending switches off after seven days.

The limits. Spending ceilings are per account and always apply. You can lower them.

The key. An assistant works through a key tied to your account. Revoke it in the dashboard and everything it can do stops at once, including buying.

Getting started

If you already use TrekMail with an assistant, nothing changes until you allow it to spend. That permission is separate from everything else, and it is off unless you turn it on — an assistant that can read your bill still cannot add to it.
