Overview

The TrekMail Affiliate Program is application-only. Anyone can apply: there are no requirements around traffic minimums or platform type, but each application is reviewed individually. Reviews are performed manually, and no particular review time is guaranteed.

Before you apply

You can start preparing before your application is reviewed. Once you log in to TrekMail:

  1. Navigate to the Affiliate section in your dashboard sidebar.
  2. Your affiliate workspace is already accessible. You can review the Creative Kit, plan destinations and UTM labels, and add payout details while your application is pending.
  3. Add your payout details (Stripe or PayPal) when you are ready. This prevents a later delay once you are eligible to request a payout.

An active tracking link requires an approved affiliate account. A pending application does not collect new attributed visits or commissions, so wait for the Approved status before publishing a link.

Step-by-step: submitting your application

  1. Go to the Affiliate section and open the Apply tab or follow the prompt in the journey checklist on the Overview page.
  2. Fill in the application form. The required information covers:
    • Website or primary channel: a full http:// or https:// URL where you promote products.
    • How you heard about TrekMail, your traffic sources, promotion methods, audience, and expected monthly click volume.
    • A clear description of your audience and plan. Name the channels you use and explain how TrekMail fits the people who follow you.
    • Supporting proof, if useful: you can add links to a portfolio or evidence and upload up to eight JPG, PNG, WebP, or PDF files. Each upload can be up to 5 MB. Screenshots of analytics, audience activity, newsletters, videos, or a media kit can make the review easier.
  3. Review the affiliate program terms and tick the confirmation checkbox.
  4. Click Submit application.

Your application moves to Pending status immediately. You will be notified by email once a decision is made.

While your application is pending, you may be able to prepare links and inspect the workspace, but you do not earn commissions until your application is approved and your affiliate status becomes Active. Referrals or payments that occur before approval are not credited retroactively unless TrekMail expressly confirms otherwise in writing.

What reviewers look at

TrekMail does not require a minimum audience size. Applications are evaluated on:

  • Audience fit: does your audience include agencies, teams, founders, IT professionals, developers, or others who would use TrekMail?
  • Promotion quality: do you produce original content, such as articles, videos, guides, or comparisons, rather than spam-style placement?
  • Credibility: is there genuine, existing activity on the platform or channel you submitted?

Having a larger, more active audience increases your chances of approval, but niche platforms with the right audience are frequently approved too.

After you apply

If your application is approved

You will receive an email confirmation. Your affiliate status becomes Active, and you can start promoting immediately using the links in your dashboard.

Note: Before your first payout can be processed, you must also submit a tax profile. Use W-9 if you are a U.S. individual or business, W-8BEN if you are a non-U.S. individual, or W-8BEN-E if you represent a non-U.S. entity. The form is completed in the dashboard. See Setting Up Your Tax Profile for instructions.

If your application is rejected

You will receive notice of the decision. If the dashboard offers a new application after rejection, you may submit it for a new, independent review. Availability of resubmission does not guarantee approval. You may also open a support ticket from your TrekMail account if you believe a decision was made in error.

Eligibility

Applications may be accepted from individuals and businesses in many jurisdictions. Availability depends on applicable law, sanctions and export-control restrictions, supported payout methods, identity and tax requirements, and TrekMail's approval. Submission of an application does not create a right to participate.
