White Label Lite is a paid add-on that hides TrekMail behind your brand. Your customers see your domain, your logo, your name, and your colors — from the login page through to the password reset emails. Underneath, it's still the same TrekMail product you already know.
This is the overview article. If you're trying to set it up, jump straight to Set up White Label Lite.
What it does
Three things, packaged together:
- Custom domain — your dashboard and webmail live at
app.yourbrand.cominstead oftrekmail.net. You point a CNAME, we issue the SSL certificate, you're live in minutes. - Full UI rebrand — your logo replaces ours in the sidebar and login screen. Your name appears in page titles and email signatures. Your primary and accent colors theme the UI accents and the branded email header.
- Branded transactional emails — the password reset, mailbox-invite, and account notification emails go out from a "from" name you set. If you fill in a Support email, those emails get a Reply-To pointing at you, so your customers reply to you, not bounce off our no-reply.
It's "Lite" because we keep one TrekMail relationship per account — the billing and the support escalation paths still go through us. If you need sub-accounts that each have their own brand and billing, contact sales — that's outside what Lite supports.
Who it's for
You probably want White Label Lite if you're:
- A digital agency selling email hosting to clients as part of a broader package, and you want the email service to look like yours, not a third party's.
- A reseller or SaaS bundling email with another product, and you don't want a "Powered by TrekMail" line visible to your customers.
- A consultant offering managed email to small businesses, and you want a single branded URL to send clients.
- An established brand that doesn't want a different vendor's logo in their employees' inboxes when they reset their password.
You probably don't need it if you're:
- A solo user on Nano. (It's not available on Nano anyway.)
- A small team that doesn't care about the surface branding — the underlying product is identical.
What it costs
- $39 / month on monthly billing.
- $389 / year on yearly billing — saves $79 a year over paying monthly.
- Comes with a 30% discount on the Drive Storage add-on, applied at every renewal.
Available on Starter, Pro, and Agency plans. Not available on Nano.
Other currencies (EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, JPY, CHF, KRW, SGD, AED) are priced at the same spread used across TrekMail plans. The currency is locked once you subscribe — Stripe limitation, not ours.

What it does NOT do
A clear list of what's outside the Lite tier:
- No sub-accounts. One White Label profile per TrekMail account. If you want to host multiple distinct brands, run them under separate TrekMail accounts.
- No control over the help center URL. Our docs (the ones you're reading right now) stay at
trekmail.net/docs. Your customers shouldn't normally end up here — you handle support directly. See What stays TrekMail-branded for the full list. - No own Stripe / payment processing. Your customers don't see your billing surface; you bill them however you like, and TrekMail bills you for the underlying service.
- No removal of every internal name. Browser developer tools may reveal internal cookie or storage names like
trekmail-…. These don't surface in normal use.
What changes after you activate
The moment activation completes:
- You're sent to the White Label settings page to enter your brand name, logo, and colors.
- You add a CNAME at your DNS provider pointing to
trekmail.net. - We detect the CNAME, issue a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate, and bring your domain online — usually within 5 to 30 minutes after DNS propagates.
- Your dashboard and webmail start serving from
app.yourbrand.com. Thetrekmail.netURL still works too for you as the account owner.
Outgoing emails immediately start using your brand. Existing customers who were already using trekmail.net URLs continue to work without disruption — you just direct new traffic to your branded URL going forward.
How activation, billing, and cancellation work
Activation is instant. You click Activate White Label on the Plans page, your card is charged, and you're redirected to the settings page.
Billing runs on a separate Stripe subscription from your mail plan — same payment method, different line item on the invoice. If your mail plan renews on the 1st and you bought White Label on the 15th, White Label renews on the 15th of each subsequent month or year.
Cancellation is also self-serve from the Billing page. The add-on stays active until the end of your current billing period; after that, your branded domain stops serving 7 days later (the grace window for reactivation). Full detail: Canceling White Label Lite.
