Overview

TrekMail supports two payout methods: Stripe and PayPal. Payouts are processed in USD and dispatched within 1–2 business days of approval. You choose your preferred method in the Payouts tab of your affiliate dashboard.

Minimum payout

The minimum payout amount is $50 USD. Payout requests below this threshold cannot be submitted. There is no maximum limit — you can request up to your full available balance at any time.

Payout currency

All commission amounts and payout totals are recorded and sent in USD. If you use Stripe, your funds can be converted to your local currency at the point of payout. Stripe supports payouts across 80+ countries in local currencies. PayPal handles its own conversion if your account is in a different currency.

TrekMail does not control the exchange rate applied — that is determined by Stripe or PayPal at the time of transfer.

PayPal

How it works:

  1. Go to PayoutsPayout settings in your affiliate dashboard.
  2. Select PayPal and enter your PayPal email address.
  3. When a payout is approved, TrekMail sends the amount directly to your PayPal account.

Requirements:

  • A verified PayPal account that can receive commercial payments
  • The email address in your payout settings must match your PayPal account

Fees: PayPal's receiving fee (if any) is deducted from the payout amount before it reaches your account. The fee depends on your country and PayPal account type.

Stripe

No Stripe account needed upfront. Here is how it works:

  1. Go to PayoutsPayout settings and select Stripe.
  2. Enter the email address where you want to receive the payout invite.
  3. When your payout is approved, TrekMail sends you a payout invite to that email address.
  4. Click the link in the invite, enter your bank account or card details, and confirm.
  5. The transfer is sent. Future payouts use the same details — no new invite needed.

Requirements:

  • An email address you can access to receive the payout invite
  • Bank account or card details to enter during payout setup (required by Stripe for compliance)

Stripe supports payouts to bank accounts and debit cards in 80+ countries.

Fees: Stripe's transfer fee is deducted from the payout amount. The exact fee depends on your destination country and payout method.

Fee deduction

All processing fees — whether Stripe's or PayPal's — are deducted from the payout amount you receive. TrekMail does not add a platform fee on top; the deduction is the payment processor's own fee.

This means:

  • The amount shown in your payout request is the gross amount being sent
  • The amount that arrives in your PayPal or bank account will be slightly less, depending on your method and location
  • Exact fee amounts are not shown in advance because they vary by destination; check the current fee schedules on Stripe's and PayPal's websites for estimates

Processing schedule

Step Timing
Submit payout request Immediately available once your balance is ≥ $50
Admin review and approval Within 1–2 business days
Payment dispatched Same day as approval
Funds arrive Depends on PayPal or Stripe (typically same day to 2 business days)

Changing your payout method

You can update your payout method at any time in PayoutsPayout settings. The change takes effect for the next payout request. Pending payout requests that have already been submitted use the method that was active at the time of submission.
