Overview

Once your available balance reaches the minimum of $50 USD, you can submit a payout request from the Payouts tab in your affiliate dashboard. Payout requests are reviewed and processed within 1–2 business days.

Before you request a payout

Two things must be in place before a payout can be processed:

  1. Payout method configured — you must have either a PayPal email or a Stripe email saved in your payout settings. See the section below for setup instructions.
  2. Tax profile approved — your W-9, W-8BEN, or W-8BEN-E tax form must be submitted electronically and approved. See Setting Up Your Tax Profile.

If either is missing, the payout request form will indicate what needs to be completed first.

How to request a payout

  1. Open the Affiliate section and click the Payouts tab.
  2. Confirm that your available balance is at least $50 USD. The request button is disabled until the minimum is met.
  3. Click Request payout.
  4. Enter the amount you want to withdraw. The amount must be between $50 and your full available balance.
  5. Confirm the payout method shown (PayPal or Stripe).
  6. Submit the request.

Your request moves to Pending review status immediately. You will be notified by email when it is approved and when payment is dispatched.

Payout methods

TrekMail supports two payout methods: Stripe and PayPal. You choose one as your default method in the payout settings section of the Payouts tab.

PayPal

  1. In the Payouts tab, go to Payout settings.
  2. Select PayPal as your method.
  3. Enter the email address linked to your PayPal account.
  4. Save.

When your payout is approved, TrekMail sends the payment directly to that PayPal account.

Stripe

No Stripe account needed in advance. Here is how it works:

  1. In the Payouts tab, go to Payout settings.
  2. Select Stripe as your method.
  3. Enter the email address where you want to receive the payout invite.
  4. Save.

When your payout request is approved, TrekMail sends you a payout invite to that email. Click the link, enter your bank account or card details, and confirm. The payment is sent. Future payouts use the same details — no new invite needed.

Note: Stripe supports payouts in local currencies across 80+ countries. Your TrekMail dashboard always shows amounts in USD; any currency conversion is handled by Stripe.

Fees and deductions

TrekMail covers the cost of operating the affiliate program, but payment processing fees are deducted from your payout. This includes:

  • Stripe's transfer or payout fee (if you use Stripe)
  • PayPal's transfer fee (if you use PayPal)
  • Any currency conversion fees applied by the payment processor

This means the amount you receive in your bank or PayPal account may be slightly less than the amount shown in your payout request. Exact fees depend on your location, the payment method, and the payout amount.

Payout history

The Payouts tab shows a complete history of all your payout requests, including:

  • Request date
  • Amount requested
  • Method used
  • Status (Pending review / Approved / Completed / Declined)
  • Completion date

Payout request statuses
