If you just bought a new domain, you cannot send thousands of emails immediately. Google and Yahoo will block you. You must "warm up" your reputation.
The Theory
Mailbox providers treat new domains with suspicion. To prove you are legitimate, you must:
- Start Low: Send a small volume.
- High Engagement: Get recipients to reply or mark as "Not Spam".
- Slow Growth: Gradually increase volume over 2-4 weeks.
Recommended Schedule
This is a safe schedule for a brand new domain:
- Week 1: 20-50 emails per day. (Personal conversation only).
- Week 2: 100 emails per day.
- Week 3: 300 emails per day.
- Week 4+: Grow to limits.
Why did my sending get paused?
TrekMail includes automated protection. If you try to send 500 emails from a 1-day-old domain, we may pause your outbound queue to prevent your domain from being permanently blacklisted.
Tips for Success
- Real Replies: Email colleagues and friends and ask them to reply. Replies are the #1 trust signal.
- No Cold Outreach: Do not use a brand new domain for cold sales emailing. It will burn the domain.
- Check DNS: Ensure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are all green before sending a single mail.
