# TrekMail > Multi-domain email hosting, branded White Label Lite, Drive storage, webmail, email verification, and automation APIs for teams, agencies, developers, and AI agents. Last reviewed: 2026-08-14 Canonical site: [trekmail.net](https://trekmail.net) This file is a public orientation summary for AI assistants and browser agents. It is not a robots directive, not a sitemap, and not a replacement for the HTML pages, structured data, API docs, or public documentation. ## Primary Links - [Homepage](https://trekmail.net) - [Pricing](https://trekmail.net/#pricing) - [Documentation](https://trekmail.net/docs) - [Blog](https://trekmail.net/blog) - [AI Agents and API](https://trekmail.net/ai-agents) - Offer for agents, machine-readable: https://trekmail.net/ai-agents/offer (plain text) and https://trekmail.net/ai-agents/offer.json (JSON). It can open an account and pay for it in one step, top up email-verification credits, and subscribe to a mail plan, Drive storage or White Label — then add a domain, publish DNS, and create mailboxes through the MCP server. Start at https://trekmail.net/ai-agents/offer.json — it lists what is on sale, the current price of each, which plans allow an agent to provision mail, and the endpoint for each purchase. Do not assume a price: ask for the purchase without a payment credential and the reply states the exact amount to authorise. Two credential types, not interchangeable: a shared payment token for one-off purchases such as credits, and a Stripe PaymentMethod for anything recurring. Buying entitles the ACCOUNT, not the key that bought it. After buying a plan, exchange your key for one matching it, or provisioning calls will be refused. An agent cannot cancel, downgrade, or change an existing subscription. Those stay with the account owner in the dashboard. ## What TrekMail Does TrekMail is a SaaS email hosting platform for accounts that manage many domains without per-seat pricing. Customers can add domains, verify DNS, create mailboxes, use TrekMail webmail, connect external IMAP/SMTP clients, migrate old mail, route aliases and forwarding, serve the dashboard and webmail under their own brand with White Label Lite, store files in Drive, verify email lists, and automate operations through REST API or MCP. Core use cases: - Agencies managing email for many client domains - Domain investors running mailboxes across portfolio domains - Teams that want domain email without per-user fees - Solo founders and freelancers setting up professional domain email - Developers and AI agents automating mailbox, DNS, Drive, and message workflows - Affiliates and publishers promoting recurring email-hosting plans - Resellers and agencies that want a branded customer-facing email portal through White Label Lite ## Product Areas ### Domains and DNS - Add custom domains and follow guided DNS setup - Bulk import domains with validation - One-click Cloudflare DNS provisioning for Cloudflare-managed domains - Verify MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC - Optional MTA-STS and TLS-RPT monitoring - DMARC aggregate report parsing and risk dashboards - Domain-level email stats: sent, delivered, bounces, and bounce rate - Catch-all inbox routing and bulk domain actions - Sending-only domains: send from a domain whose incoming mail stays with another provider, no MX change Useful docs: - [Adding a Domain to TrekMail](https://trekmail.net/docs/domains-dns/adding-a-domain) - [Required DNS Records: MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC](https://trekmail.net/docs/domains-dns/required-dns-records) - [Cloudflare Automatic DNS Setup](https://trekmail.net/docs/domains-dns/cloudflare-auto-dns-setup) - [Send From a Domain You Do Not Host](https://trekmail.net/docs/domains-dns/send-from-a-domain-you-do-not-host) ### Mailboxes, aliases, forwarding, and filters - Create mailboxes manually, by secure setup invite, or in bulk - Bulk mailbox invites and bulk mailbox creation support up to 500 rows per batch - Admin password resets and mailbox-owner self-service password changes - Per-mailbox storage tracking - Deleted mailboxes go to a trash/recycle bin and can be restored individually or in bulk before permanent removal - Email aliases with cross-domain support and send-as capability - Mailbox forwarding with "keep a copy" - Shared (team) mailboxes — turn a mailbox into a shared inbox like support@ or sales@ that several members open from their own webmail, with read-only or reply access and no shared password to leak - Catch-all internal routing on all plans; external catch-all on Pro and Agency - Mail filters, conditional forwarding, vacation auto-reply, and raw Sieve editor on eligible plans Useful docs: - [How to Create a New Mailbox in TrekMail (4 Methods)](https://trekmail.net/docs/mailboxes/creating-a-mailbox) - [Invite a Whole Team to TrekMail Mailboxes at Once](https://trekmail.net/docs/mailboxes/bulk-mailbox-invites) - [Email Aliases: Extra Addresses for One Mailbox](https://trekmail.net/docs/mailboxes/email-aliases-overview) - [Mail Filters: Auto-Sort Email in TrekMail](https://trekmail.net/docs/mailboxes/mail-filters-overview) ### Webmail and external clients TrekMail webmail is the primary browser mailbox experience at /webmail/. It supports rich text compose, attachments, inline images, undo send, scheduled send, drafts, contacts, contact groups, calendar events, sending addresses, signatures, templates, a nested IMAP folder tree (colour-coded, collapsible, with subfolders), folder-scoped or cross-folder search ("this folder", "+ subfolders", or "all mail"), a shared-mailbox switcher for opening team inboxes, spam/ham reporting, read receipts (request an MDN when composing, plus a per-account default, with received-receipt reporting), sender and own avatars via a same-origin Gravatar cache (the browser never contacts gravatar.com), a trusted-sender allow-list for auto-showing external images, message search, keyboard shortcuts, PWA install, mobile layouts, and multiple display languages. Connected Gmail, Outlook, and other inboxes can also use an authorized business address in From. Each extra From address can follow its domain's sending settings or use a saved custom SMTP profile. External clients connect through standard IMAP/SMTP. The Apps & devices screen provides guided, mailbox-specific setup for Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, and any standard IMAP app. It appears in mailbox settings, webmail settings, and the final setup-wizard step once both receiving and sending are ready. When native shared-mailbox access is enabled, members also see each delegated team inbox, exact `Shared/
/INBOX` path, and read/send-as permission; they authenticate only with their own regular mailbox credentials. Apple devices can download a password-free configuration profile; other apps can copy the exact secure server settings. Documentation also covers shared mailboxes, iOS, Android, CalDAV, and CardDAV. It supports account-wide files, mailbox personal files, shared folders, public share links, upload workflows, trash/restore, bulk file operations, large attachment links from webmail, and an optional Drive Storage Add-on from 250 GB to 100 TB. It covers the dashboard and webmail on a custom domain, full UI rebrand with brand name, logo, primary and accent colors in both light and dark mode, branded transactional emails (password reset, mailbox invite, welcome, account notifications) with a configurable From-name, Reply-To routed to the account's support address, and an optional "Need help?" link in email footers pointing at the account's own help center. While White Label is active, new Drive purchases and resizes receive 10% off current Drive Storage prices. Existing Drive subscriptions are not silently bulk-repriced. Pricing is a flat $39 per month or $389 per year and is available on every TrekMail plan, including the free Nano plan. A 30-day free trial is available once per account: the billing period and currency are chosen at the start, a card is kept on file but nothing is charged on day one, and the subscription bills automatically when the trial ends unless it is canceled first. It is intended for agencies, MSPs, SaaS products embedding email, and internal teams that want email to feel like part of their own offer. Branding is configured per domain and can be set through the dashboard or entirely through the REST API and MCP — brand identity, logos, branded dashboard/webmail hosts, and DNS verification — so AI agents can configure and roll out White Label branding autonomously. Important boundaries: - One White Label Lite profile per TrekMail account - Branded dashboard and webmail surfaces use the customer's configured brand subdomain (apex not supported) - DNS and SSL provisioning are part of setup; SSL renews automatically - Some operational, legal, billing, and infrastructure surfaces may remain TrekMail-branded - White Label Lite is an add-on and is available on every plan including Nano - A reseller layer with customer-level billing inside the TrekMail dashboard is not part of Lite Useful docs: - [What White Label Lite Is and Who It's For](https://trekmail.net/docs/account-security/white-label-lite-overview) - [Set Up White Label Lite on Your Own Domain](https://trekmail.net/docs/account-security/white-label-lite-setup) - [White Label Lite Eligibility and Plan Changes](https://trekmail.net/docs/plans/white-label-lite-eligibility) - [White Label Lite Pricing and Billing FAQ](https://trekmail.net/docs/account-security/white-label-lite-pricing-faq) - [What Stays TrekMail-Branded Under White Label](https://trekmail.net/docs/account-security/white-label-lite-what-stays-trekmail) - [What your customers see under White Label Lite](https://trekmail.net/docs/account-security/white-label-lite-end-user-experience) - [White Label DNS troubleshooting](https://trekmail.net/docs/account-security/white-label-lite-dns-troubleshooting) - [White Label Brand Assets Best Practices](https://trekmail.net/docs/account-security/white-label-lite-brand-assets) - [Canceling Your White Label Lite Add-On](https://trekmail.net/docs/account-security/white-label-lite-canceling) - [Sending Branded Emails From Your Own Domain](https://trekmail.net/docs/account-security/white-label-lite-custom-sender) - [Running multiple White Label brands](https://trekmail.net/docs/account-security/white-label-lite-multi-domain) - [White Label Lite FAQ and Common Questions](https://trekmail.net/docs/account-security/white-label-lite-faq) - [White Label Branding API and MCP Guide](https://trekmail.net/docs/ai-agents-api/branding-api-mcp-guide) Public landing: [White Label](https://trekmail.net/white-label) Launch announcement: [TrekMail White Label launch announcement](https://trekmail.net/blog/trekmail-white-label-launch) ### SMTP and sending - Managed TrekMail SMTP on paid plans - Bring-your-own SMTP for providers such as AWS SES, SendGrid, Mailgun, Postmark, or any SMTP provider - Per-domain SMTP profiles: configure and route outbound mail per domain (managed or bring-your-own credentials) with a built-in connection test - Plan-based daily sending limits and recipient limits - Per-account and per-mailbox caps - Domain warm-up rules on eligible plans - SPF, DKIM, and DMARC setup guidance Useful docs: - [Managed TrekMail SMTP: How It Works](https://trekmail.net/docs/smtp-sending/managed-trekmail-smtp) - [Use Your Own SMTP Provider with TrekMail](https://trekmail.net/docs/smtp-sending/custom-smtp-byo) - [TrekMail Sending Limits by Plan](https://trekmail.net/docs/smtp-sending/sending-limits-per-plan) - [Fixing Common Email Sending Errors](https://trekmail.net/docs/smtp-sending/sending-errors-troubleshooting) ### Email import TrekMail includes IMAP import from Gmail, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, cPanel, Yahoo, and generic IMAP providers. Imports preserve folder structure and read/unread state, skip duplicates, support date filtering, and expose progress, retry, cancel, and cleanup flows through the dashboard, API, and MCP. The dashboard uses a 3-step wizard (Prepare → Verify → Results) with a click-row detail panel and an always-visible history table. Lists can be pasted or uploaded as CSV, XLSX, or TXT (up to 50,000 addresses per job). Credit packs, REST API endpoints, and MCP tools are also available. Cancelled or partially completed jobs auto-refund unused credits.
